The Herb Guild is comprised of supportive members throughout Ohio’s North Coast. We welcome new members.
The Herb Guild originated in 1978. Today there are 50 plus members meeting at the Westlake Public Library (mainly), on the second Wednesday of each month (except December and January).
Projects of The Herb Guild include the establishment and maintenance of a public herb garden Rosehill at Cahoon Park in Bay Village. Members are expected to contribute their time and talent in order to further interest in the culture uses of herbs.
Throughout this last year we were able to stay connected through zoom meetings and outdoor events.
We are gradually getting back to our routine of meetings and planning for the future. The Herb Guild continues to improve and expand our work in the gardens at Rosehill, Bay Village. This year we have emphasized education and learning more about herbs and their uses. In the near future we plan to have a lending library where visitors to the gardens can sit and read about herbs or recipes for inspiration. Books will be free to take once the project is completed.
