The Herb Guild is comprised of supportive members throughout Ohio’s North Coast. We welcome new members.
The Herb Guild originated in 1978. We currently meet at Porter Public Library, Westlake on the second Wednesday of each month. Please refer to the program listings to note when we are meeting at a different location.
Projects of The Herb Guild include the establishment and maintenance of a public herb garden Rosehill at Cahoon Park in Bay Village. Members contribute their time and talents in order to further interest in the culture uses of herbs.
We are back to our routine of meetings and planning for the future. The Herb Guild continues to improve and expand our work in the gardens at Rosehill, Bay Village. This year we will focus on youth education and learning more about herbs and their uses. There is a special event planned in coordination with Porter Library for elementary children in June.
We now have a lending library at Rosehill where visitors to the gardens can sit and read about herbs or recipes for inspiration. Books will be free to anyone interested in taking a book home.
